Homegreeny is paid for by some of the links on it. Here is how that works, and what it does and does not change.
Affiliate links
Some links go through affiliate programmes. If you buy something after clicking one, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price you pay is the same.
Referral links
Some brands we use ourselves run refer-a-friend schemes. If you sign up through our link, we may get a credit or discount on our own account, and you often get one too.
How we mark them
- Buttons and links that earn us something are labelled “Referral link” or “affiliate link”.
- Any page with one of these links carries a short note at the bottom.
- Pages are labelled First-hand when we have used the thing ourselves, and Research-led when we have not.
What it does not change
- We decide what to include before we look at whether a brand has an affiliate programme.
- We link to good suppliers whether or not they pay us.
- No brand pays to be listed, and we do not run sponsored posts or adverts.
- We do not link to Amazon.
