We first came across this Devon farm while staying at the fantastic Bull Inn in Totnes. The veg boxes are perfect for this time of year, and if you sometimes feel daunted by what to do with a huge cabbage, they come with brilliant recipe ideas, both simple and adventurous.
We enjoyed the meal box for the korma. The whole family ate it, and it was the best we’ve ever made.
The packaging is compostable and returnable, and they use wool to keep things cool. We borrowed some to tuck in our tulip bulbs over winter: cappuccino-coloured, 1920s-style ‘La Belle Époque’. We love forgetting about them till spring.
